Who needs low cost medical care?

The last few years have seen a marked increase in the number of patients in our area who find it hard to afford basic medical care because they are now uninsured or under-insured. I therefore started a special low cost, cash only, program for most of the services our office offers, as well as for many outside services on a negotiated, reduced-fee basis.

Who may benefit from our low-cost cash program?

  • People who can not afford private-pay insurance
  • People who lost their jobs and no longer have COBRA or other assistance
  • Young people who don't think they need medical insurance
  • People with insurance, but with a high deductible (this may include your HSA account)

Regardless of the reason, our office is set up to accommodate your needs, and contain the cost.

FAQ

Q: I'm coming in for blood work, should I be fasting?
A: It depends, and it's always worth asking before coming in.
This is a general guideline: If your blood work includes measurement of glucose (sugar), cholesterol or insulin, plan to come early, after a 12 hour fast - you may have water.
