Who needs low cost medical care?

The last few years have seen a marked increase in the number of patients in our area who find it hard to afford basic medical care because they are now uninsured or under-insured. I therefore started a special low cost, cash only, program for most of the services our office offers, as well as for many outside services on a negotiated, reduced-fee basis.

Who may benefit from our low-cost cash program?

  • People who can not afford private-pay insurance
  • People who lost their jobs and no longer have COBRA or other assistance
  • Young people who don't think they need medical insurance
  • People with insurance, but with a high deductible (this may include your HSA account)

Regardless of the reason, our office is set up to accommodate your needs, and contain the cost.

Typical costs


We are making an effort to keep our fees for office visits at a minimum. This applies not only to your initial and subsequent office visits, but also to any testing done at our office, such as blood drawing, cardiograms, cardiac stress tests, breathing tests, 24 hour heart rate monitoring, chest x-rays, as well as acupuncture and Chinese Medicine visits.

** Includes cardiogram, lung capacity screening, comprehensive blood work, body fat analysis, and discussion of results.  

In addition, we have negotiated deep discounts on work done outside our office including blood work and radiology/imaging tests.

As a regular patient in our office, you will be able to communicate with us by email for non-emergency issues.
